Since independence in 1991, Uzbekistan has declared the protection and preservation of the historical and cultural heritage as a fundamental principle of its public policy. In order to secure its rich ancient history, Uzbekistan pursues a policy of protecting its cultural and historical heritage, which is reflected in the Constitution of the Republic. On this basis, Uzbekistan is striving to use all relevant international and regional instruments recommended by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and other international organizations.
Erkin Baydarov was a senior researcher in the Eurasian Research Institute at H.A.Yassawi Kazakh Turkish International University. In 1995, he graduated from the Department of History at National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek.
