The International Conference on Historical Geography of Central Asia aims to delve into the multifaceted layers of historical geography in the region and stimulate discussions on how the intersection of historical landscapes and knowledge formed the lens of historical geographical traditions in Central Asia. By examining various approaches and traditions in historical geography, including the evolution of mapping and cartography, the conference attempts to shed light on how Central Asia was illustrated, recorded, and interpreted over time.
The programme of the conference will be multidisciplinary and gather together local and international scholars to discuss and promote a deeper comprehension of the historical evolution, spatial dynamics, and cultural contacts of the region.

- The conference intends to foster a network of scholars and professionals interested in the historical geography of the region, promoting ongoing dialogue and collaborative initiatives for further research.

Authors are invited to submit original research papers for the Conference Proceedings via [email protected] . Full-length papers should be written in not less than 4000 words, including references, tables, and figures and formatted according to the APA 7th edition style (https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/citations).
Submissions should be original and not previously published or under review elsewhere.
