The congress, which has been held regularly every two years since 2014, this year was held in collaboration with the International University of Sarajevo, New York University of Tirana and Ibn Khaldun University. The EFE’2022 congress, aimed at scientific discussion of the main economic, financial, political and energy processes in the post-pandemic world, was held in the format of face-to-face and online (hybrid) participation.
At the opening ceremony of the three-day EFE’2022 congress, the coordinator of the 5th International Congress of Economy, Finance and Energy, professor Dr. Nevzat Şimşek, the representative of the rector of the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, professor, Dr. Cengiz Tomar, Rector of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University Dr. Zhanar Temirbekova, Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey Selim Cerrah, Member of the Board of New York Tirana University, Dr. Hasan Taşçı, Rector of Ibn Khaldun University, Professor Atilla Arkan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, professor, Dr. Muhittin Şimşek and Chairman of the Planning and Budget Committee of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, Dr. Çevdet Yılmaz, delivered the opening speech.
After the opening speech of the congress, one of the specially invited guests, Dr. Jevdet Yilmaz, made a report entitled “Turkey’s experience in the context of risks and difficulties encountered in monetary and fiscal policies carried out within the framework of the fight against the global epidemic.”
At EFE’2022, 150 scholars from 16 countries and 66 different organizations, mainly from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates, presented their reports. The main economic, financial, political and energy dynamics that shaped the post-pandemic world were discussed from scientific perspectives. In particular, topics such as “economy”, “innovation and economy”, “post-pandemic geopolitical relations”, “financial markets”, “cryptographic assets”, “financial markets and stability”, “economic growth and globalization”, “climate change”, “energy and economy”, “economic policy and financial stability”, “environment and economy”, “climate change and renewable energy”, “financial markets”, “employment and inflation”, “environment and economy”, “geopolitical relations and economy”, “public finances and inflation”, “processes of economic development in Central Asian countries” were presented at the congress.
At the EFE’2022 sessions, Dr. Jevdet Yilmaz, Professor Dr. Lokman Gunduz, Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University, Professor Dr. Asma Salman, Dean of the Business School of the UAE-American University and Economic Adviser to the President of Albania and Associate Professor of New York University Tirana , Dr. Aryan Kadaria made important presentations and analyzed the economic and financial developments after the pandemic.
It is planned to release the proceedings of the EFE’2022 congress, which was attended by many scholars.
