In EFE’2020, we invite you to discuss the energy revolution, the biggest energy transformation since the industrial revolution. Low carbon energy production comprises the fundamentals of the global energy transformation. In this context, renewable energy and electric vehicles (EVs) come into prominence. The Congress aims to establish a platform for scholars and experts to share their experiences and knowledge in energy revolution. The topics of the congress include but are not limited to the following areas:
- Low carbon energy production
- Renewable energy and the future of renewables
- Climate change
- Energy independence and connectivity
- Energy sharing
- Electric vehicles
- Economics of rare earth materails
- Incentives for renewables
- Financing of renewable energy investments
- Financing of large energy investments
- Energy efficiency
- Other topics related economy, finance and energy
The participants are expected to submit the abstracts of their papers (200-250 words), which include the problem statement, explanation of the hypotheses, methods used and the research results, through the Congress Submission System no later than 23rd August 2020. Abstracts will be sent to the referees, whose area of specialization is in line with the proposed topic, for prescreening. Papers will be selected according to the referee reports.
The Congress will be held in English, Turkish, and other Turkic Languages. The papers and abstracts can be submitted in one of these languages. Each paper must be accompanied by an English title and an English abstract. The Organizing Committee would be grateful if you could confirm the language in which you are planning to deliver your presentation beforehand (during the submission). Paper owners will have the choice of synchronous and asynchronous presentations.
EFE’2020 will also include the papers and presentations of the invited participants.
All full papers will be published in the proceeding book (with an ISBN number) being published in 2020. Also, Congress participants will have the opportunity to publish their papers in one of the following: a) Eurasian Research Journal b) Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Journal of Institute of Social Sciences c) International Econometric Review (IER) d)editorial book titled “Political Economy of Energy Revolution”. Congress participants need to send the final version of their papers, not more than 8000 words, until 7th October 2020 adding the key words, JEL codes, references, full title of the author(s) and their ORCID ID numbers, institutions, e-mail accounts.
