Various agricultural areas have been developed depending on the natural and climatic conditions of Kazakhstan. Animal husbandry, horticulture, agriculture and fishing are among them. About 80% of Kazakhstan’s total land area is suitable for agriculture, about 11% of this is the land reserved for cultivation. In general, there are 22.582.3 hectares of arable land in Kazakhstan. Especially in the Turkistan region, 847.9 thousand hectares of land are used for agriculture.
PDFDaulet Zhailybayev is a research fellow at the Eurasian Research Institute of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University. In 2009, he received a bachelor’s degree from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, faculty of history. In 2013, he graduated from the faculty of ethnology of KazNU with a master’s degree. The thesis topic is “The Azerbaijanis in Kazakhstan: Ethno-Cultural Processes”.
