The problem of professional burnout, although not a discovery of the 21st century, has nonetheless attracted the attention of not only researchers but also the public over the past decade. This is due to active social changes and multiple reforms in areas where the main functions are training, care, counseling, treatment or protection, that is, social professions. Burnout is a state of motional, mental and physical exhaustion caused by excessive chronic stress. This happens when a person feels depressed, loses interest or motivation, which prompted him/her to assume a certain role or function.
