Terrorism nowadays remains one of the major global threats representing a security risk to every single country. Since 2000, the Institute for Economics and Peace has been publishing the Global Terrorism Index (GTI) report, which analyzes the data from 1970 to the present to assess the impact of terrorism and to pro-vide a comprehensive summary of its key global trends.
