Job description: ERI offers a 1-year contract-based full or part-time position. Contribute Institute’s activities in both administrative and academic tasks. Among these, publishing publications, participating in projects (governmental or international), and assisting in the organization of the events held by the Institute are some of the main required duties of research fellows.
Research areas of the Institute include economy, finance, energy, politics, foreign policy, security, relations between countries in the region and other countries, environment, migration, climate change, technology, language, religion, philosophy, history, culture, art, sociology and interdisciplinary topics. Academic Qualifications:
Excellent knowledge of English (upper-intermediate) is preferred. Fluency in Kazakh and/or Russian language is required, knowledge of Turkish language is an asset.
Doctoral degree or Master’s degree preferably in the fields of Economics, Social Science, International Relations, Sociology, Security and other fields of the research interest of the Institute.
Must have publications in academic journals;
Excellent writing skills with demonstrated ability to quickly prepare publishable-quality manuscripts.
Having an experience in participation and/or managing projects (governmental or international) is an asset.
